H.M. Forrest is an award-winning author, freelance writer, and editor who lives in sunny Arizona with her son and exotic pets. Her blogs have been featured all over the country. She loves to write about “all things elves,” and has completed numerous short stories about the wondrous world of elves and their adventures, with several full-length, young adult fantasy novels completed and more in progress. Her short stories have been published under various pseudonyms in multiple “Chicken Soup for the Soul” books, “Writers Weekly,” and “Winter Whimsy,” a fiction anthology.

This book gives glimpses of their lives, traditions, royal families, and personalities from all the ages. The stories are based on four different worlds and the book is divided into four sections. The first section deals with the elves in a time very close to our own. The second section is about the elves from times past, and the third and the final sections take readers into the intricate world of this compendium. Whether it is about Artonian or Varedlas or Sathoran, Tador, or the rest of the characters, the stories are enchanting and compelling and will take readers on a magical ride into elfdom.
