Carol Golden, also known as Aiko Maukawa and Cynthia Sakai, is more than your average woman living in the United States. There’s actually far more to her than meets the eye. The problem is that even she doesn’t know it. Carol has been to different corners of the globe, but she’s about to travel further than she ever has before in search of an ex-boyfriend she doesn’t even remember. Amnesia can definitely throw a wrench into the best laid plans and Carol’s plans aren’t any different. Finding Eric is going to be priority number one if she can just remember who Eric is in Dangerous Wind.
Carol is the type of girl that you don’t easily forget. She’s funny, smart, and strong, even when she’s struggling to remember simple things like a boyfriend from back in her college days. She doesn’t like to give up and she definitely doesn’t give in. I wish I could be more like her and perhaps more like Alice as well, the take-charge woman who doesn’t take no for an answer. This book has twists and turns you definitely won’t see coming, I know that I didn’t. But it’s interesting enough to keep you reading more and more and to keep you wondering how they’re ever going to save the world. Dangerous Wind is the third Carol Golden book and the adventures are definitely continuing as they span the entire globe searching for a way to stop one crazy man from fulfilling his dream and destroying the world.
