Danny and Olly's Trick-or-Treat Night by Silviya Rankova is a Halloween-themed picture book for young children. Little Danny, his big brother Alex, and their cat Olly are all dressed as policemen and are excited for their night of trick-or-treating around their neighbourhood. They visit lots of spooky houses and are greeted by all kinds of ghoulish creatures of the night. With Olly as Danny's undercover police dog, will they be able to collect lots of candy? Find out in Danny and Olly's Trick-or-Treat Night.

Danny and Olly's Trick-or-Treat Night was fun to read. The author has created a thrilling and entertaining book that children are going to love, even if it's not Halloween yet. The use of rhyming has been used to tell this spooky story, and it works really well. The illustrations by Golam Ashfiqur Rahman Avash are creative and imaginative, enabling them to bring the characters alive and also add more adventure to the story itself. Not only is this book fun, but it is also educational as it teaches how children can trick-or-treat safely. Danny is accompanied by his older brother which shows you should always have an adult with you when going out and about as well as going to strangers' houses.

Silviya Rankova has done an amazing job at writing her book to be attention-grabbing and has even added extra fun activities at the end for children to discover. I loved every page of Danny and Olly's Trick-or-Treat Night and can't wait to see more of the author's work in the future. Good luck and keep writing!
