In Days of the Dead by Anastasia Amor it is Oktoberfest - the evening celebration before the Days of the Dead Tour. Drinking, dancing, party fun and murder. Just what Adie Sturm needed, a murder just before the tour to Cozumel, and the murderer may be going on the tour with them. Someone is out to try and do in Ingrid, Adie’s devious boss who has somehow convinced Adie to help her find a stolen art antiquity, and with this things get complicated. Meeting up with two old friends, Diego and Wolf, Adie is torn between the two. Diego needs her help, as someone is out to destroy his sister. Wolf is there to help Adie figure out what is happening on the tour.
Days of the Dead is a tale weaved with murder, hot romance, intrigue, and suspense. Who is in the group that is trying to get rid of Ingrid? Where does Diego’s sister play into all of this? Seems there are suspects creeping out of the woodwork, and Adie would love nothing more than to expose them and turn them over to the police. Now, the murderer is after Adie. Will she discover who it is before they get to her?
Adie is a modern-day, sexy Agatha Christie. Along with romance and murder, you will find adventure a little humor. The characters are charming and quite captivating. Overall Days of the Dead is a wonderful story put together very well.
