Sometimes, companies get so hyper-focused on campaigns and sales that they inadvertently end up devaluing their own brand. In Customer First, Value Next, Mariusz Gromada proposes a model prioritizing customer needs that has a central decision-making brain and uses AI/real-time architecture by default. With traditional business playbooks becoming increasingly redundant, companies need to adapt and evolve to meet the demands of a changing market environment. According to Gromada, hyper-personalization is the key. Gromada's framework features four stages that include foundations, strategy, a practical action plan, and culture and proof. The book delves into the new banking system and shows why effective analytics is so important in today's corporate culture. Furthermore, it explores the scalability gap, the impact of generative AI, the customer's journey, omnichannel orchestration, balancing customer needs with business goals, and more.
Mariusz Gromada hit the nail on the head with his observation that many companies are losing customers in droves with their hyper-fixation on marketing and product sales to the extent that customer needs are almost secondary. Customer First, Value Next is a guide for all those aspiring entrepreneurs, business executives, and sales managers for whom satisfying the customer and providing a much-wanted product is the utmost priority. Gromada's data-driven approach is transformative, taking into consideration modern tools like AI that are readily available to almost all major business institutions. What I like about this book is that even though many of the concepts discussed here are somewhat complex, Gromada does a fantastic job of covering the topics comprehensively, using examples to back up his insights. Anyone working in the corporate world will find this guide immensely informative and illuminating.
