Determined to rebuild his life, his first mission is to regain his medical license and return to the ER. Once back at work, strange and unsettling incidents begin to unfold, drawing attention to him. Zack must protect Bridget and his daughters from the cartel while fighting for a second chance.
Dead Reckoning: Dr. Zack Winston Book 4 by Mike Krentz was a gripping and action-packed read from start to finish. The fast-paced plot delivered a thrilling mix of conspiracy, mysterious medical cases, and dangerous cartel influences. With every twist and turn, the story kept me guessing and constantly surprised me. The suspense had me flying through the pages, eager to see what would happen next. The writing style was immersive, pulling me right into Zack’s relentless fight to reclaim his life. The characters were well-developed and believable, each adding depth to the story. Zack was determined to make the most of his second chance and refused to let anything stand in his way. Brilliantly written and tightly woven, this story held my attention throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed it and found it nearly impossible to put down.
