Dealing with Anger from a Natural and Spiritual Perspective by Stephen L. Bowen is an informative book that speaks about anger and the dangers of anger if it starts controlling your life. The author advises readers that anger should only be a passenger and it should never be in your driver's seat as it is as dangerous as a reckless driver. The book throws insight into the crashes, clashes and collisions brought on by anger and also about understanding the emotional vulnerabilities that anger can bring. The book also covers the physical and psychological effects of anger.

The book covers the topic extensively and in depth, and it helps readers to look at the emotion closely. Anger is a choice and it can alter our mind, attitude and mood, causing serious repercussions. The diagrams in the book give more clarity to the concept and help readers to identify it easily. The book also elaborates on legitimate, illegitimate and optional anger and the author speaks about it with spiritual quotes and undertones, giving the topic a spiritual angle, too.

The small incidents and quotes given in the book also make the concept of anger and the damage it causes in our lives clearer. There is also guidance on how to use the tools that we have learned to control anger. The book stimulates our thinking and rouses an interest in this negative emotion and will help readers deal with their personal anger in a much better way.
