Switching between Calder’s and his wife Hana’s perspectives, Venters explores and exposes the brutal reality of midlife crisis, strained marriages, and the dark side of the corporate world. Calder shows that the only way to address toxic corporate environments is through confronting their establishments. He also highlights a sad truth about cancer and its treatment. I had no idea that even after remission, some survivors have to deal with the effects of the treatment, which can be life-threatening, in the future.
