Detour Allure Book 2 is a mystery novel with many twists. It involves the discovery of a Spanish lottery ticket by an unassuming flight attendant by the name of Tucker. Tucker was travelling on a train from France to Barcelona, Spain, with a girlfriend, Monica, when a guy fell into their private compartment. He was ill and, to the two lovebirds, it appeared as though he collapsed and died. The lottery ticket for 120 million Euros fell out of the newspaper that the sick guy was holding. Tucker and Monica were exposed to dangerous threats after being followed as a result of this ticket. On top of that, his real girlfriend, Ebba, and a companion were kidnapped and were being held for ransom...

Detour Allure Book 2 is a book that holds you captive. From the beginning, the reader gets caught up in the web that author Jack Dancer wove. I love the various twists to the plot that the author created. This really keeps the reader guessing and anticipating what will happen next. The language used is colloquial and is quite easy to understand. The detailed sex scene was totally unexpected. Even here, the author inserted an element of surprise. It is truly entertaining, however, the sex episode could come across as over the top. The cliffhanger is very effective. It provides comic relief as well as one of the main characters being quite defiant, even though her life hangs in the balance. Overall, Detour Allure Book 2 leaves you in suspense mode and prepares you for the next installment. I recommend this book to all readers, especially those who love suspense novels with a wisp of romance.

Oooooh...that's what I thought when I finished reading Detour Allure, the second book in author Jack Dancer's Detour Paris series. I must say, this was as good, if not better, than the first installment, and will have the reader obsessively turning the pages until the very end. Following the characters of Tucker and Monica as they continue on the journey of their very sexy relationship, this story has more unexpected twists and turns than ever! While Tucker and Monica continue to be the perfect sexy match for each other, outside forces are working to tear them apart. And when Monica goes missing and Tucker is targeted by a sinister force determined to bring him down, it seems as if those outside forces just might succeed. But when help comes from a very unexpected person, Tucker starts to hope that he might just have a chance at getting all he desires.

Author Jack Dancer has again written an exciting and sexy novel that will have his readers riveted. He's created characters, especially Monica and Tucker, that are intriguing, sensual and exciting. Some of his scenarios are so action packed that they will have his readers reading as fast as they can, hearts in their throats. I can completely recommend Detour Allure to any reader who loves action, adventure, suspense or thrillers with a whole lot of sexy fun thrown in. I simply cannot wait to read the final installment of Jack Dancer's great series. If you haven't already, you should absolutely pick up these books as soon as possible. You're in for a great treat!

Detour Allure by Jack Dancer is the second book in the Detour series. The novel picks up with Tucker and Monica when they are happy in their relationship. However, all is not well with them. The blows are coming from all directions, their love for each other is faltering. Misunderstandings are creating a wedge between the two and they are drifting apart. However, when a dangerous adversary takes a stab at them, they come closer than ever before. Just when it seems like things are getting better, they are ripped apart. Tucker is already down and bleeding from the loss of his love, but when he discovers that an old enemy has been making plans against him, he is thoroughly devastated. He is framed for crimes that he never did and he could spend the rest of his life in jail. Can he let go of his despair and take charge? Or will he lose it all?

This novel was indeed a roller coaster ride. I had the pleasure of reading Detour Paris when it was released back in August. I liked it, but better than that, I was intrigued by the story. Usually I'm annoyed when writers don't give me HEA endings, but this time I was grateful. Detour Allure has everything the previous novel did; it has emotion, love, a burning desire, and so much passion that you could light fire with it. I was so happy to see Tucker grow and become a better character. Monica too has grown a lot. They both show the potential of becoming great. I can't wait to read the last novel!!!!
