Author Bio – Gail Morgan McRae
Gail Morgan McRae grew up desperately poor on a small tobacco farm in rural southeastern North Carolina. Her family walked to church every Sunday they were all well enough to go. Her parents drilled into her and her brothers that to get out of poverty they had to get a good education, work hard, and have faith that God would put them where He wanted them to be. They didn't get it when they were little, but as they matured they understood. They worked hard to pull themselves out of poverty - and with God's grace, they did. Gail has been writing since she was a child in rural Robeson County NC.
Raised by her working class parents, she and her two brothers lived in a tiny home with barely enough room to move around. Though poor, they never knew it as her family was filled with love and joy. There were always books to read and education was a priority.
Gail’s love of the written word has been evident throughout her life; she started her career in literature around age 18 as a children’s Librarian in her hometown. She put herself through college and grad school, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Arts and a Master’s in English Education. She’s now the author of The Reglon Empire Series, which currently consists of three published books; but at least one more is on the way.
She and her husband are the parents of three amazing children and three grandchildren. Rounding out the family are their pets – a mischievous rescue dog named Louise and a ferocious kitty named Tammy.
Gail Morgan McRae has been writing most of her life, though it was not until she was in her thirties that she began to write fiction, specifically fantasy. She has worked many jobs trying to help her family to make ends meet, but finds that writing is the most challenging and satisfying.
She says though the trilogy is done, the series must go on. Book 4 (as yet unnamed) will continue the stories of many of the characters the readers have come to love - or hate - as the case may be. This fourth book came to her while she was writing Dunmyrr. She hopes to complete it within the next year.

In a great continuation of an epic story, Dunmyrr: The Reglon Empire Series, Book 3 by author Gail Morgan McRae, readers will be taken on a journey back to the Reglon Empire and will be reunited with some of the characters that they have grown to know and enjoy in the series' first two books. REG Commander Michael Camdus continues in his quest to find Queen Alora, and the reader will be returned to Earth, the birthplace of the ancestors of the Reglon Empire. But it's not an Earth many will recognize, with creatures there that are as evil as any ever seen before. The military leaders of all the empires find themselves in a situation in which they must work together in order to survive, a position they haven't been in before.
Whoa! Dunmyrr is quite a read, and those who have started the journey of this series with the first books, Creedor and Hellritch, will absolutely enjoy the ride that continues in this edition. Author Gail Morgan McRae has done a fabulous job in writing an exciting, adventurous and fantastic story line that will keep her readers turning the pages from start to finish. Her ability to create worlds is truly second to none. Her characterizations and descriptions of the conditions on Earth when Camdus returns there in his search for Queen Alora are both familiar and not, and her writing skills truly shine forth in these scenes. I highly recommend Dunmyrr: The Reglon Empire Series, Book 3 and certainly hope that author Gail Morgan McRae is already hard at work on book four as we speak!
