Easy-Peasy Birthday Cake That Even Little Ones Can Make by Tatiana Bell is a fun children’s picture book. It follows the activities of three kids who decide to make their mom's special day a memorable one. The three kids, without any experience, enter the kitchen with a plan to bake a cake that will be as tall as a tower and as wide as a lake. The plan soon turns out to be a disaster with the flour flying in the air, butter on the walls, the cat running around, and plates breaking. They patiently wait for the cake to bake, decorate it with as many toppings as they can think of, and present the big surprise to their mom.
Easy-Peasy Birthday Cake That Even Little Ones Can Make is a heartwarming story that teaches children to have fun and be kind to others. One of the core messages in this book is to remind the special people in our lives that they are cherished and loved. Tatiana Bell’s narrative is so bubbly that it will put a smile on your face. I loved the fact that the words and art are on different pages because it makes the book look neat. This will also help youngsters trying to improve their reading skills, as the text is clear and easy to read. The illustrations are the best part because they bring the book to life. The bright smiles on the children's faces and their mother's joy were satisfying. The book is interactive, with a simple cake recipe at the end that you can try out with your friends and family. This is a great read with vital lessons and enjoyable elements. I recommend reading it with your children to be creative, to work as a team, and to show love to others.
