Entropy Gate by Tsung-Long Wu is a riveting book that feels surprisingly intimate for a story that reaches all the way across the globe. The plot is engaging because it makes you become an observer inside Ya-Lin’s home, watching her family slowly heal from their lingering grief while the world outside goes into panic mode. Wu’s writing style is simple yet deeply expressive, avoiding complicated terminology while building an amazing sense of wonder and discovery. The pacing is fantastic, giving you deep, emotional conversations right before leading to tense political talks in secure, underground command centers. I really loved how Wu developed Ya-Lin’s children, Ming-Yu and Xiao-Rou, making their unique reactions to AIDEN feel very authentic and human. Overall, this is an excellent read that celebrates human connection and the power of listening during a major global crisis. It will remain with you long after you finish.
