Everybody's Little Book of Everyday Prayers by Cynthia MacGregor is a helpful guide to readers, irrespective of the religion they follow, enabling them to connect with God. It is for everyone and gives the freedom to take liberties with prayers to suit individual needs and beliefs, and also add a word or two to the prayers if they need to. Prayer is an integral part of everyone's life and the book has a prayer for every occasion, reiterating that God's presence is always there in everyone's life and He hears everyone's prayers. God's love for us shows in the blessings we have.

The prayers are simple and the book covers prayers for every single occasion, be it calendar occasions, personal occasions, even moving into a new house or a child starting school; it's all there. What makes it a perfect book to own is because it does not have any religious affiliation. This makes it ideal for anyone to use and incorporate into their lives. The book gives everyone the confidence to talk to God, ask Him what they want, and trust Him and His power and presence.

When one is at loss in life and does not know how to handle situations, the prayers in the book will help one to reach out and connect with God. Praying is very personal and each person has their own way of reaching out to God - this book encourages readers to do just that.
