Author Biography

"EVERYTHING" is a prequel to The Habit Factor®.

After wasting years in total frustration, Grunburg "tripped" upon a process for goal achievement that was so effective it inspired an entirely new genre of productivity tools and apps (habit trackers), as well as countless "habit" books to follow.

Without soliciting any press, The Habit Factor® (2010) appeared in Mashable, Lifehacker, NY Times, CNet, and numerous publications around the world. Martin was even invited to share his revolutionary insights about goals and habits at TEDx in the United Arab Emirates.

This innovative habit development method, P.A.R.R. (Plan, Act, Record & Reassess) has helped thousands around the world achieve their goals faster.

Martin then wrote The Pressure Paradox™ as a followup to The Habit Factor®, and now, "EVERYTHING" completes this personal development trilogy.

Everything is a F*cking Story: Recognize & Rewrite the Stories that Steer Your Life by Martin Grunburg is the long-awaited prequel to his previous works, The Habit Factor and The Pressure Paradox. This book completes the Personal Mastery Trilogy that the author didn’t originally intend, but like the previous two books that preceded it, this book completes your journey to self-mastery. As the question remains about what is effective when it comes to right thinking, this prequel posits that our thinking more often than not happens in the form of a story; an imaginative narrative that, if we take the responsibility to control, direct, and steer our thoughts to our own worthwhile goals and ideals, we are renewing our mind and body toward a better version of ourselves, and therefore, we become more focused, healthier, and productive.

Martin Grunburg is no psychiatrist or psychologist. Everything is a F*cking Story is the product of his personal journey into exploring and identifying patterns at what he calls the intersection of thought and achievement--what works and what doesn’t, the same efforts he has put into his previous books. Grunburg is doing something right and interesting here, as professionals worldwide coming from various fields of discipline employ and recommend the ideas in his works. No skill is more valuable and harder to master than the ability to condition our minds to think correctly. After reading this book, I came to the realization that if you can think through things better than others, you’ll have fewer problems and be happier. So how can we recognize and rewrite the stories that we think about ourselves? This book is worth reading for its relevant heuristics and observations that the time to get your story right is now and wherever you may be.

EVERYTHING Is a F*cking STORY Recognize & Rewrite the Stories that Steer Your Life by Martin Grunburg is a self-help book, the third book in a trilogy. It explains how your life is a story and shows you how to change it if you don't like it. The author uses the 3 Circles Behavior Model to explain how. He also uses his life and other people's lives to prove his point. He explains how habits can change the story. Martin even gave a story about the title.

I thought that EVERYTHING Is a F*cking STORY by Martin Grunburg was a fascinating idea. He does use some swear words, but doesn't spell them out. I know some might be offended, but I thought it was refreshing. I admit the title seemed confusing, but the story about it was cute. I just think his original idea would have made more sense. I liked how Martin used charts to help explain things. I liked that, even though it is the third book in the trilogy, it can be read as a stand-alone. I liked that I got some aha moments from this book. I liked that the author gave book suggestions too. Finally, someone who understands what they mean when you manifest. The toaster idea was spot on. If you need some help in changing your life, this is a good book to read. I do recommend reading the trilogy in order.

Why do some people grumble in certain situations while others see opportunities in them? Why do different religions throughout the world have such devoted followers? How can one change one's future behaviors and cognitive patterns? If you've had similar questions regarding human behavior and mental patterns, Everything Is a F*cking Story contains numerous fascinating discussions that expand on these issues. Martin Grunburg explores the power of stories in this last installment of his amazing self-help trilogy, guiding readers toward knowing themselves and why they do the things they do. The book's chapters comprise thoughts that will guide the reader's life choices and enlighten them enough to make better-informed decisions. It also delves into six of the wh- questions as well as subjects like thoughts, failure, worries, and mastery.

Martin Grunburg writes in a candid, conversational, and narrative style, offering research results, quotations, personal tales, and clever logic in a way that keeps you interested throughout. I had a very enjoyable reading experience because of the book's impeccable editing, which stresses the right phrases with bold letters and arranges important ideas with concise lists. My favorite lesson from the book highlights that missing out on possibilities in the present moment is confirmation that additional opportunities are on the way because the missed opportunities were on their way to me at one point in time. Books like Everything Is a F*cking Story redirect power from a few individuals who know about hidden truths of human behavior and utilize them to manipulate the masses to the masses. In fact, anyone who reads and applies the book's wealth of wisdom will find themselves more in charge of their lives and emancipated from prior, damaging myths.

Is it possible that who we are and the results we achieve depend on the stories we tell ourselves? Of course, it is possible! Our storytelling influences our beliefs, actions, and outcomes. You listen to your stories every minute of every day, but if you are not satisfied with what you have and who you are, you can decide to change that story and become its hero. How? The first step is to read Martin Grunburg's enlightening book, Everything is a F*cking Story: Recognize and Rewrite the Stories that Steer Your Life. Thanks to this book, you will learn to get rid of the negative stories you tell yourself and create positive ones to get what you have always wanted.

I love personal growth books, but until now, I have never found one that explains the importance of the stories we tell ourselves in the same way as Everything is a F*cking Story. I especially liked the way Martin Grunburg explored this complex and fascinating subject, offering clear explanations of concepts that many readers were probably not aware of. This analysis is not theoretical but helps readers understand where to focus and change their stories (and habits) effectively. I experienced the first results while reading, but they will be even better when I re-read and meditate on this great book. It is an experience that I wish everyone could have. I recommend it to all those who want to change their lives and realize that the first thing to do to achieve their goals is to change how they think.

Everything is a F*ing Story by Martin Grunburg is a riveting look at the endless ways our thoughts and beliefs (our stories) impact our lives. The way we talk to ourselves and the way we interpret what is happening around us has a lasting influence on our emotional and mental states of being. The authors let the reader in on a huge lift shift that can occur by simply altering the ways we tell ourselves, and others, stories. We have our own identity scripts that tell us who we are, and scripts that tell us what we want to become, where we want to go, why and when we want to go there, and how we want to reach our success or next milestone in life. The book helps the reader to see how our daily thought choices and habits will either take us toward a deeper sense of purpose or be counterproductive to it.

This book contains an immense amount of value, wisdom, and insight. Everything is a F*ing Story by Martin Grunburg empowers the reader with its invigorating energy that pushes the reader ever forward into exciting realms of possibility. This book is much more than a positive thinking, self-help narrative. It teaches fundamental psychological truths and encourages self-discipline even as we create new life stories, one thought at a time. The truths presented have the power to transform the reader’s life and elevate the quality of their thoughts. This is the type of book you’ll return to again and again to recenter and realign with the best version of yourself on your journey toward living a fantastic and fulfilled life.
