Montego F.R. Craddock walks readers through the process of finding and getting the job you really want. He begins with preparation and formulating a plan. Creating a proper resume will help to get you the interview. Research the company and the position before the interview. Appearance, attitude, and knowledge are very important during the interview. If you appear bored, messy or inappropriate the interviewer will notice.
Topics covered include:
* Why your appearance can make a difference
* How to make a cold call
* Why it's not what the company can do for you, but what you can do for the company
* What you should bring with you on an interview
* How to engage in salary negotiations
I especially liked the workbook style format. Each chapter has blanks to fill in. There are samples of resumes and cover letters. Eyes on the Prize is an excellent tool for anyone seeking a job, regardless of age or position.
