Fendley the turtle loves going to the grocery store with Daddy, and so does his little brother, Danny, but what’s going to happen on that trip? Both the little boys want to have fun and help Daddy get everything that they need, and with Momma’s list they should be able to get all of it with no problem. But Fendley is a little bit mischievous, even when he doesn’t intend to be, and sometimes that can get any little one into trouble. But will Fendley be able to keep himself out of trouble? Or will this trip turn into an opportunity to learn a new lesson in Fendley’s Trip to the Market?
This is the story of a little turtle who definitely learns a lesson. But he also has a whole lot of fun. After all, there’s no reason that someone can’t do both at the same time, right? This book has some really cute and fun pictures that let you see what’s happening. Author Greg Flynn has captured the young audience here. Fendley is going to have a great day, but just what might happen during that day is going to be a surprise.
