God’s Posts: Truth Lives in Us All! by Russell James Harper II is an inspirational book that the inspired author declares to have been written through the hand of the Lord and of the Holy Spirit—a gift that he was given to write. Having said that, this gift contains encouragement and spiritual wisdom for those who keep ignoring that tug that tells them God wants them back and He still loves them. Words such as sin, conviction, born again, followers of Jesus Christ, pain, suffering, and crucifixion are not used just for kicks but are delivered pursuant to the good news of the Word. The book can be read in one sitting, or you can think of each piece as daily food for thought, where each thought delivered corresponds to a biblical passage that drives home the point of our relationship with God.
God’s Posts is designed to inspire those who feel lost or believe that they are not good enough for God. Although this work is filled with the author’s personal observation and experience, it is also filled with practical guidance and indispensable words of wisdom. Reviewing inspirational and spiritual books is never easy, because the philosophical and religious ideas that emanate from them may be different from one person to another. As a guidepost for the reader, this book is essentially one man’s testament to the generosity and kindness of the Power that placed all of us here, and the style in which Russell James Harper II puts it all together has a quality that is both strong and reassuring. Anyone who’s on a spiritual or religious journey to embrace God’s love and remember their own power may want to pick up a copy of this book.
