Jordan Deen's novel "Half Moon" is a must read and is the the follow up book to "The Crescent". The story continues as Lacey must find a way to fully bond with her true soul mate Brandon, who is a werewolf and the future leader of the powerful Amana wolf sect pack. Lacey who has had a very difficult six months, finds out that she is predestined to be a wolf and is part of a large, very powerful wolf family. After being taken from the only home and family that she has ever known, and finding out that her parents are not her real parents, Lacey must find a way to accept her new life and her new fate. Lacey is of all things, a hybrid - half witch, half werewolf - and is the very first of her kind. She discovers that she must fulfill her destiny and the prophecy that is her birth right and become the powerful, future leader of the Amana wolf pack.

I loved Jordan Deen's werewolf book "Half Moon". I was so excited to read and follow the story line of "Half Moon", that I devoured her book word for word, page by page and chapter by chapter. I felt so deeply entwined in the story and the characters that I could easily envision the surroundings of the makeshift wolf camp in Oregon and the pain that the characters felt through the vivid but mostly heart stopping descriptions that author Jordan Deen has provided. And while reading it, I found it to be a wonderful, and exciting cross between Stephanie Meyer's phenomenal vampire/werewolf 'Twilight' series, and a wonderful, exciting mixture of the 'Shiver' series and the 'Wolves of Mercy Falls' by author Maggie Stiefvater. I loved author Jordan Deen's book 'Half Moon" so much that when I finished reading it, I absolutely HAD to buy and read her first book, for the spell binding story of "The Crescent". I was again very pleasantly pleased and excited by the story of that as well, and can't wait until she delivers book three in her breathtaking, and wonderfully captivating wolf saga.
