In a uniquely written new book by author J.R. Pitts, Hero of My Dreams, readers will find themselves engrossed in a story that is both science fiction as well as a great romance. Follow the story of the beautiful science officer, Kumari, as she travels throughout the galaxy with the crew of the Arklardin Command Air Transport, desperately searching for the one who can lead Arklardin against an alien invasion ready to happen. When she finds Alexander Freeman, an American war veteran, she thinks she may have found the very answer to all of her planet's problems. Will Alex be able to help Kumari and the Arklardins defeat the evil Lord Dragoon? Will their feelings for each other grow to be too much for either of them to handle? You'll need to read the book to find out!
I very much enjoyed Hero of My Dreams. Author J.R. Pitts has done a great job in creating characters that his readers will be able to connect to and will care about, not always an easy feat in a work of science fiction. The author's world creation skills are excellent, and readers will feel as if they can simply slip through the pages and into the very scene they are reading. I loved the budding romance between Alex and Kumari, with all the complications that it brought. Any reader who enjoys science fiction with a bit of romance thrown in should absolutely read this book. I am pleased to recommend Hero of My Dreams, and hope to see more from author J.R. Pitts in the very near future!
