How Flynn the Loh’li Conquered His Fears, written by A.R. Morris and illustrated by Rachel Sharp, is a very short children’s story about a little Loh’li named Flynn who is extremely afraid of heights. All the Loh’li in the valley of the Lok’Ree were very good at climbing and jumping but Flynn had reservations, especially when he began to follow Butterscotch the Butterfly up the highest mountain in the valley. How would sweet little Flynn get down when he was so afraid of heights? Why had he attempted this particular trip in the first place? The biggest question yet; if Butterscotch could easily lead the little Loh’li to the top of the mountain, could his new flying friend help him find his way back down before his fear gets the best of him?
I absolutely loved How Flynn the Loh’li Conquered His Fears by A.R. Morris and the wonderful message this short story sends to kids to never give up and always face your fears. The plot is very well planned out. This is a very easy read for young children with characters that will play on their imaginations through the beautiful illustrations by Rachel Sharp of the adorable Loh’li, Flynn and the colorful pictures of the Lok’Ree valley. A.R. Morris and Rachel Sharp make an amazing five star pair in this wonderful, colorful, entertaining, enlightening and educational story of How Flynn the Loh’li Conquered His Fears. I recommend this short story to anyone who has children of any age; they will definitely love this as much as I did. I hope to read more tales about Flynn in future adventures.
