I’m 58 years old and I want to master utilizing social media. That is the reason I read How to Crush Social Media in Only 2 Minutes a Day. The subtitle reads YouTube, Google, Amazon, Cross Promotion, blogs and Shapr. This is Book 2 in a series. I thought this is as good a place as any to start learning more. I am on Facebook, Twitter, and Goodreads already. I have a blog, but I don’t really blog much. I’m not really much of a businessman, I’m afraid, but I am determined to change that. I hoped Ndeye Labadens could help me. Although I had never heard of her until I saw her book, I noticed that she had a variety of online courses available. I thought if I learned a lot from her book and was comfortable with her style, I could continue to learn until I knew what I needed to make money on line. Two minutes a day seemed like a pretty good work schedule, if I could get there. How to Crush Social Media in Only 2 Minutes a Day is exactly what I needed to read. It is full of information pertinent to the subject. It is not about hype or a sales pitch. That’s exactly what I wanted.

How to Crush Social Media in Only 2 Minutes a Day gave me a better understanding of how to use Facebook for business. It showed me how to partner with YouTube to make money and attract clients. It showed me how to utilize Amazon effectively. It also showed me best how to monetize my blog and improve its visibility. Don’t get me wrong. I have not implemented any of the strategies I learned in this book yet. I just finished it, and I probably need to read it again. But I have learned a lot and at last I have a plan. I plan to learn more from Ndeye Labadens.

She reminds you that blogging isn’t a get rich quick scheme, but in time with the right tools you can make a lot of money.

I think that How to Crush Social Media in Only 2 Minutes a Day by Ndeye Labadens is a very informative book. I like how she goes into details about how each of the tools work. Even a novice like me can do them now. Some of the tools I never heard of, like Thunderclap and Shapr. I appreciated how she mentioned what they are used for and how to use them. I liked how Ndeye Labadens gives you enough information to determine which would work best for you, since everyone works differently. Like the difference between using Amazon affiliates vs. Adsense. I also liked how she added information for each tool, and a link to get them, to make it easier for you. I am hoping to try some of these techniques out. I will definitely be keeping this book handy when I start my blog.

Labadens has structured this book in an excellent fashion. She has broken each area of social media into it’s own standalone chapter. The book can be read in any order allowing the reader to focus on the social media that they want to use for their own interests. I also appreciated the links in the back of the book that allowed you to immediately try the techniques mentioned in the book. Worth reading.

I am in the process of writing a book and trying to figure out how to sell it! I bought this book hoping it would help and boy did it! Tons of great leads on how to market your idea, not just books, and all the do’s and don’ts! I consider myself fairly aware of what opportunities are available on the web but this book made me aware of so many other I had not heard of. Labadens is brilliant. I have had a local business for awhile and have been trying to move to online mediums for a while. The information provided by this author is very helpful and informative. I wasn't sure how to focus my thoughts, but Labadens helps in this area as well-- asking questions that made me create a target audience and what I was trying to accomplish by using social marketing mediums. It is all new information for me and I sure appreciate it!
