I Am You, You Are I Am by Dr. Herman L. King is perfect for readers who wonder what separates the rich from the poor, the healthy from the sick, the joyful from the depressed, and similar disparities between people. With a thorough examination of biblical texts, Dr. Herman L. King aims to empower readers with insights that will motivate them to live fulfilling lives. The book starts with a dissection of the first commandment as God uses it to create Heaven and Earth, exploring its practical application, then proceeding to reveal your sovereign power and its relationship to God. Beyond this lie concepts such as how to become linked to the origin of your authentic self, God’s original redemptive plan and its misrepresentation, the Christ in you, how to fulfill the hope within, and more.
I am used to seeing books that apply Christian messages to non-Christian themes. Dr. Herman L. King's book, however, does the opposite as it examines spiritual messages from both Christian and biblical ideas. This is done with the use of engaging stories, perfectly tuned to the book's message, alongside a matter-of-fact tone, and question-and-answer moments that make the book suitable as a workbook. I loved that I Am You, You Are I Am has several profound and quotable revelations. Some aspects are definitely controversial as the author refers to the Bible as a "psychological drama". Since I was spiritually blessed by the affirmative words and loved the positive messages in I Am You, You Are I Am, I recommend it to readers who wish to discover how they can live their best life and enjoy abundance in all aspects of it.
