I Love You More by Carolyn Healy seems like a typical kind of love story – girl and boy meet, don’t like each other, then do. However, the suspense and twists and turns are what make this book a good read. Aubree is forced to relocate and it disturbs her very planned life schedule. Carter is a popular star professional hockey player. The odds are surely against Aubree and Carter having anything in common, but yet each date finds them having a wonderful time and starting to care about each other. When Aubree begins to find herself in danger, she has no idea why and who might be trying to hurt her, maybe even kill her. The twists and turns kept me on my toes and never quite sure of who the bad guy might be.
I found I Love You More to be very entertaining and really liked both Aubree and Carter. Carolyn Healy added a cast of players so that each complemented the other and fitted together very well and convincingly. I really liked that the phrase "I love you more" was used frequently and with meaning; it is something many of us have said at one time or another and this made the story seem very real to me. I believe that I Love You More has just the right combination of romance, suspense, twists and excitement to make it a good book. I Love You More is a relatively short story and can be read quickly. It had me at the first chapter and never lost me. If you enjoy a good romantic suspense story, I definitely recommend I Love You More!
