Author Biography

Shirley Kiger Connolly, both an inspirational novelist and devotional writer, spends her days writing thought-provoking features or romance stories that find their way to the hearts of her readers. Involved with her husband in ministry for years, Shirley, when she's not writing, teaches and speaks to women's groups, promotes fellow authors on her blog, and drops by as often as she can over at her author page on FACEBOOK. That's when she's not hanging out with her chickens, of course. She and her husband live on the Southern coast of Oregon.

Do you know what kind of influence you have on people today...people you meet in the stores or just out in your neighborhood? Are you walking the path that God intended you to walk? Too many times it's easy for us to make our own decisions and go our own way; later we discover we went down the wrong path.

In her third book author Shirley Kiger Connolly shows us how to keep our feet on the path that God has laid out for us: through bible scriptures, a short prayer and a personal challenge. How does the Lord want to minister to me and through me today? What choices did I make last year, last month or even last week that are making me the person I am today? These are a few of the topics covered. Are you satisfied with how God is shaping your character as you face your life? Everyone is responsible for the choices they make. When we stray from the vision that God has for us, then we go astray from where our focus should be.

This short book is based on Psalms 119 and Proverbs 31. It is packed with many scriptures for study and meditation. The author shared some of her own personal experiences with the reader. I especially like her experience with the Christmas Eve Santa Claus. This book is geared toward women. The purpose of this book is to strengthen the readers walk with God as they seek to find Him on that narrow road.
