Where Lanigan shines is in her visual descriptions, from the Black River barn lit for the cookie exchange to the glowing hilltop where Angela first appears. With excellent writing and an immersive, heartening storyline, readers who enjoy faith-based supernatural stories and family-centered romance will love this.
