In the Taylor and Alan Adventures, where faction meets fiction, you will meet Taylor and Alan a sister/brother duo, who are called on to help the good wizards of the land. Artfully weaving rich history into the story, it instills the concept of being mindful and respectful of the environment while appropriately thrilling the young audience. A portion of the proceeds goes to the Caitlin Dunbar Nature Center to help support Girl Scouts. This juvenile fiction series for the middle grade is sure to please readers.
Jackie also finds time to volunteer within her community. “Giving back is a big part of who I am.” When she is not volunteering she is writing, gardening, or spending time with her grandchildren.

Wow! Just, wow! That’s what I thought when I finished reading If…Lost or Found by author Jackie Mae. Follow the story of Sabrina, a woman who’s on a grand adventure, traveling the world. But issues from her past haunt her, and she must return home to correct them. She ponders what might have happened if she had followed her parents' advice instead of seeking a life of freedom. When Sabrina meets the man of her dreams, she allows herself to hope that her life might be changed forever, but when his life moves in a different direction, she again realizes that she must forge ahead with her own life and make her own path. Will she be able to do it? You’ll need to read the book to find out.
I so, so enjoyed If…Lost or Found. Author Jackie Mae has again written an interesting, emotional and intriguing read that her readers will definitely be able to connect with. Who amongst us hasn’t wondered, “What if I had just done this one thing differently, what would my life be like?” This book takes a look at this in a very unique way. Readers will be able to connect with, relate to, and care about the characters that author Jackie Mae has created. If that isn't a hallmark of a great author, I'm not sure what is. Any reader who loves a great work of fiction that will keep them reading straight through to the end should absolutely read If...Lost or Found. I am pleased to recommend this short work, and look forward to reading more from author Jackie Mae in the very near future!
