If I Was A Caterpillar by Ben Jackson and Sam Lawrence is a fun children's book. The book explores what to do if you were a caterpillar. If you were an caterpillar, would you wear different shoes on each of your feet? Would you travel around the world? Would you ice skate across a frozen lake? Would you ride in the pouch of a kangaroo? Follow as a young caterpillar does all of these and more. The caterpillar goes on all sorts of fun and exciting adventures. What other adventures will it go on? What would you do if you were a caterpillar?
I really enjoyed reading If I Was A Caterpillar by Ben Jackson and Sam Lawrence. The book is very well written and descriptive. The authors have come up with creative things to do if you were a caterpillar. The book is inspirational, because it teaches that a normal caterpillar can become a beautiful butterfly. The pictures by Danko Herrera are very well drawn and show each scene clearly. The pictures are also very colorful and beautiful. This book will bring a smile to children's faces. Parents will enjoy reading this book to their child, and children will want to read it again and again. The book is very well developed and thought out. The story is great because it gets children thinking about what they would do if they were a caterpillar. I would definitely recommend this book to all young readers.
