If You Were Me And Lived In...China by Carole P. Roman is an award-winning, brightly illustrated children's educational book written in a similar style to the If You Give A Mouse books. The story includes vibrant and stimulating illustrations, engaging text, and fascinating facts that are certain to entertain and educate the early reader. I appreciated how the author included so many relevant perspectives and statistics, all while keeping the story light and entertaining. Although this the fifteenth book in the If You Were Me And Lived In... series, the quality of the author's many stories seems to have only improved. I look forward to reading more from Ms. Roman. I would recommend this book to the early and middle-grade reader, or to complement an educational module on China.
