Vija finds herself attracted to and falling in love with Nolan, a folksinger whom she meets in a coffee shop. His cool demeanor and nonchalant ways catch her attention. The story takes a twist when Vija's father dies and she meets Joel who steps in to help her with her father's business. She is appreciative of Joel's loving and caring nature.
The story involves these three characters and how Vija is attracted to both of the guys. The author has three characters in love and the book will surely interest young adult readers. Young women always tend to make the wrong choice when they are young.
The characterization is excellent. Each character shines with their own unique personality. Vija's innocence, Nolan's frivolous nature, and Joel's genuineness make the story interesting. The scenes are very descriptive. Though Vija feels Joel's love for her, she is still obsessed with Nolan and she is unable to get away from him. Will she be able to see Joel's genuine feelings or will she stay trapped in loving the fickle Nolan? Will Vija finally get away to make the right choice?
