Joseph's 3-in-1 Superhero Odyssey Squared by Jospeh Lupton is an all-around fun read. Likely, if you are on book ten, then you have read the previous adventures involving this persistently heroic fella! This was my first time with him, and I must say that he has a way of keeping you involved with his 'superlicious' on-the-edge-of-your-seat brushes with danger. Classic good versus evil, he swoops in at just the right (or wrong, depending on which side you cheer for) time to snatch his friends from the clutches of danger. Between a nemesis who can switch personas and bounce around as much as a rubber ball and friends who could use a good dose of sniffing out danger, our hero has his hands more than full, but he manages to juggle it all with grace (sometimes stink, I must say) that one would expect of a hero of his stature.

I feel like Joseph Lupton did a great job keeping this story quirky and engaging for the age category he writes for. As an adult, even I was drawn to the silliness and heroic efforts that lie within the pages. I was forced to giggle despite myself at times, and I am sure that is the sign of a book that is great for kids and preteens. We could all use more entertainment in our lives, and Mr. Lupton did a good job delivering that with Joseph’s 3-in-1 Superhero Odyssey Squared. It is worth the time it takes to complete the book.
