This is the third book in the Frontier Legends Series.
Hero’s come in all sizes and shapes, some well known that you hear about and others that are lesser known but still just as important. During the battle of the Alamo many brave men fought to win the freedom of Texas from Mexico, there was another hero along with Davy Crocket and Jim Bowie…Juan Seguin
The story line follows Juan and his friend Pablo Gomez from their childhood, as they grew up together and then fight the battle at the Alamo. The reader will ride with them as they carry messages and as they ride with Sam Houston. The reader will experience the battle to win the freedom and independence of Texas from Mexico. The reader will mourn with him as he returns to the Alamo where he buries the ashes of his long time friends and comrades.
This series has been a pleasure to read. While the target audience is youth it will please adults also. The book is small but stuffed with history. The Frontier Legends Series should be in every child’s library.
