After spending a decade working hard to finish college and playing caregiver to her sick mother, Eva is finally getting away from New York and away from her responsibilities. Despite her guilt, Eva is on her way to the Bahamas with her wild child best friend, Nicole. The goal is for Eva to relax and maybe enjoy a sexual dalliance or two. Just A Fling by Olivia Noble follows Eva as she attempts to relax and enjoy her temporary reprieve from a packed schedule. At the urging of Nicole, Eva does eventually let loose after about a half dozen shots and that is when she meets the elusive and gorgeous Andreas and the story really starts to sizzle. Olivia Noble has a talent for illustrating how two such different personalities can forge a strong bond. Nicole and Eva are nothing alike, but their affection and loyalty are plain to see.
When Eva meets Andreas, she is struck by lust the likes of which she has never experienced before. With the help of liquid courage, Eva is able to be more forward than she had ever been with a man in the past. After the most erotic night of her life, however, Eva seems like a completely different person and I had to question Olivia Noble’s intentions. Eva went from uptight and shy to nearly as crass as Nicole, which seems a pretty big change after a few orgasms. Just A Fling is part of a series so don’t expect to get your happy ending right away, but the few days we get to spend with Eva and Andreas are amazing, sensual and everything the beginning of a modern romance should be. Now I can’t wait to see what happens when they get to New York!
