Are you ready for some fruity fun? Let's Go Bananas by Brad Wilkins is a rollicking romp through the jungle with two monkey brothers. The brothers are enjoying swinging through the treetops when they decide to stop for a banana snack. Much to their surprise, they hear a strange song. It is coming from a singing banana. Who knew bananas could sing? The brothers try desperately to get away from this unusual banana, but somehow, the banana keeps showing up. As the monkeys travel through the jungle, they see elephants, meerkats, and lions. Surprisingly, they also see unicorns and dragons. Are they going bananas? Will the singing banana continue to find them?
Let's Go Bananas will have kids singing along with the banana's crazy song. Brad Wilkins has written a fun adventure that also introduces some of the animals that live in the jungle. Cesar Lista's illustrations are filled with vivid color. The monkey brothers are distinctive, and the singing banana is a hoot. Lots of fun details are included in each spread. Brad has created a rhyming story that is silly and joyful. He has included many action words, making it a fun read-aloud, as kids can swing and leap along with the brothers. Kids love listening to a tale that makes them laugh. They will absolutely love seeing rainbow zebras! Brad Wilkins has created a unique story sure to entertain young listeners. Let's Go Bananas is an appealing story that you don't want to let slip away.
