Life Literacy by Nelson Soh, Matt Young, and Stan Peake is an organized, valuable, and relatable guide to attaining a successful and meaningful life. Starting at the very beginning of one's journey by encouraging students to look within, the authors pave the way for the future success of the reader. Encouraging positive action such as assessing one’s values, strengths, and growth opportunities will lay the foundation for being an excellent working professional. The authors encourage the reader to recognize the moments in life that had the biggest impact on their worldview, bias, and fear. Knowing oneself is the best way to learn how to be a valuable asset to any company. Practical advice such as financial literacy, establishing a routine, and learning to manage the personal and social aspects of one’s life round out the many valuable nuggets of wisdom in the book.
