In this book children are taken on a journey into the Solar System with Lion and Kitsune, as they learn about space, the Solar System and stars. If your children love space, astronauts, etc., then they may enjoy this book. Just make sure they are 9+, as some of the content would go over a younger child's head.

Usually when I think of the Solar System and stars, I expect bright and fantasy-like illustrations. The illustrations in this book were alright, but nothing that would grab a young child's attention and keep them engaged, or what to talk about the illustration as it relates to the story line.

It is a cute idea and concept for one's child to travel into space as part of a space exploration team with Lion and Kitsune, as they learn about space through colors, shapes, and more. Don't get me wrong, we learned new and exciting things about the constellations, but I felt it could have been better represented and conveyed through illustrations and more fun and games. This is a tough topic to educate children on.
