In Love Across Time, Beth Ford tells a heartfelt story about a woman named Ashley who is yanked out of her modern life and dropped into the middle of 14th-century England. She wakes up in 1377 Wiltshire and has to figure out how to survive a world that is completely different from hers. The plot is about her struggle to fit into a time of knights and strict rules while she tries to work out how she even traveled through time. Along the way, she meets Thomas. He becomes her main connection in this different historical era. The book focuses on the bond that grows between them as they deal with the dangers of the medieval world. Love Across Time is a beautifully written look at finding a real connection where you least expect it, and whether a person can truly belong in a totally different era.

I was swept away by Love Across Time. Beth Ford makes the historical setting feel real without making it into a dry history lesson. The chemistry between Ashley and Thomas felt very genuine and earned. It wasn't just a quick "love at first sight." I really liked how the book dealt with the actual problems of time travel—like the language gap and the lack of modern comforts—instead of just ignoring those details, and the emotional weight of Ashley's choice between her old life and the love she discovered in the past. It’s a heartfelt "what-if" that feels magical but also very grounded. If you like romances that mix history with a bit of the impossible, Love Across Time is a story that will stay with you long after the final page.
