Love and Ohana Drama is a work of fiction in the romantic comedy sub-genre and was penned by author Melissa Baldwin. Focused on themes such as second chances, family drama and overcoming the emotional challenges of life, this work is a suitable book for readers of all sensitivities due to its clean approach. Our protagonist is Cora Fletcher, a young woman who has got her life sorted out, or so it seems. Newly single and enjoying her work, Cora is persuaded to attend a family reunion by the promise of a free trip to Hawaii, but there’s a big catch. Her family is determined to interfere and improve her life, and Cora finds there’s no escaping them on her island vacation nightmare.

For readers seeking a cozy beach read that has plenty of laughs but also a lot of heart, they need look no further than the works of author Melissa Baldwin. Cora’s story is one that is highly relatable for a lot of women’s fiction fans, particularly in the expertise that Baldwin puts into the development of her family of characters and the dynamics between them. She touches on tropes that we’re all sure to roll our eyes at with familiarity and humor but also develops those characters on a more emotional level as the tale progresses and gets some real love and warm feelings out of them despite their flaws.
