Rom-com lovers are in for a treat with Leah Brewer's Love Inn: The View. Clara Sharp was happily looking forward to getting married until she caught her fiancé cheating on her with one of his employees. When her best friend sets her up on a double date with former football star Archer Banks, an accidental misunderstanding ends up causing unexpected friction between the two. However, their mutual attraction to each other is undeniable. Meanwhile, Clara is working for the firm hired by Archer, who is determined to make amends. But when Clara's former fiancé reveals his plans to get Clara back, Archer realizes he must make his move. Furthermore, Archer must get married to continue being the CEO of his family's company. Will Clara and Archer end up together?

Love Inn: The View is the perfect comfort read for contemporary romance readers. Packed with comedy and drama, this captivating tale of love will keep you engaged all the way through and leave you wanting more. Author Leah Brewer's fast-paced storytelling style is not only entertaining but also immensely satisfying. It's the kind of story that leaves you with a smile on your face. The character interactions were definitely one of the main highlights of the book for me. Brewer's dialogue is on point and engrossing, laced with humor and wit. It adds to the personalities of the characters, making them feel lively and real. I also enjoyed the secondary characters. They breathe life into the narrative with their charm and presence. All in all, readers of contemporary romance will have a blast with this one.

Love Inn: The View by Leah Brewer is a charming tale of romance between two people hesitant to open their hearts to love again. Clara Sharp broke off her engagement to Trevor once she caught him cheating on her with Brianna. Having experienced her mother cheating on her father, Clara has zero tolerance for cheating. Thus, she is especially offended when Archer Banks accuses her on a blind date with him, months after her breakup. Archer, misled by Trevor to believe that Clara was still engaged to him, accused her of being a cheater. After this misunderstanding is cleared, Archer and Clara slowly warm up to each other. However, there are more misunderstandings that they must work through for their love to flourish.

I enjoyed reading Love Inn: The View by Leah Brewer. It was exciting to see the plot develop from both Clara's and Archer’s perspectives. I feel that alternating the POV between Clara and Archer helped to advance the storyline in a smooth, refreshing, and comedic way. This was also an excellent way to develop their character. I laughed a couple of times reading Clara’s inner monologue versus what she says. On the other hand, I related to Archer’s approach to romance. Additionally, I appreciated how realistic all the supporting characters felt. This story featured Detective Tammy Sharp and her mother, Ruby, who were the protagonists of Natural State Murder Mystery: To Find a Killer. The conversational tone throughout this work contributed to my enjoyment. I highly recommend this book to avid romance readers.

Love Inn: The View by Leah Brewer refers to two aspects of the story. It is a tale of falling in love, or, more accurately, deciding if it is love, and the renovation of an inn or guest house in Mountain View. The heroine, Clara Dean, is engaged to Trevor, but shortly before their wedding, she finds him kissing another woman. Her faith in love and marriage is already shaky due to her parents’ divorce and her mother's remarriage. A blind date engineered by her best friend Jane introduces her to Archer Banks, a famous football player. It transpires that the woman, Brianna, who was kissing Trevor, was also Archer’s girlfriend. Most of the characters are employed in the same company, which makes life especially difficult for Clara. However, there may be some help from Jane Austen.

Love Inn: The View by Leah Brewer is an easy-to-read love story. The narrative is told alternatively from the points of view of Clara and Archer as they both grapple with their feelings. Is this love, or an infatuation, and could either one be the correct match for the other? Although she has had a serious crush on him since childhood, she cannot believe Archer would take an interest in her. He is the perfect male specimen, adored by hundreds of fans, who has never lacked female company. There are many scenes describing the town of Mountain View, with real places of interest, restaurants, and shops, which are listed in the back of the book. The author also describes the views of hills and valleys and trails through woodlands. I liked the illustration at the beginning of each chapter. A satisfying beach read for those who prefer a simple love story without steamy scenes. A clean novel that will appeal to younger book lovers.
