Can your memories put you in danger or would they salvage your relationship when everything indicates that there was no relationship to start with? In Love or Deception by Morgan K. Wyatt, Amy has no recollection of anything. The only thing she remembers is that she is married to Mark and he is missing. She wakes up one morning and he is not there beside her. The only thing she remembers about Mark is their beach wedding and their brief dating. Amy is not a person to sit back and let things be. She wants to know the truth and she wants to find Mark before it is too late and something happens to him.
She asks for help from the police, but they have zero interest in finding Mark. She enlists the aid of her good friend Ryan, who helps her put the pieces together and bring back her memories. But this has revealed a gruesome event that is perplexing and life threatening. Now, they are on the run to save their lives. They have no idea who they can trust. Are her memories worth risking her's and Ryan’s lives?
Morgan K. Wyatt brings us a gripping mystery in Love or Deception. The suspense is thrilling and really good. At first, I did not really like Amy, she was too headstrong and stubborn, but as the novel progressed, I started to like her and actually enjoyed her wit and intelligence. Ryan was a good character, although he felt more like a sidekick, but I was okay with that. Amy was strong enough for both of them. I really enjoyed this book! Kudos for a job well done.
