Gabi Rupp has gathered the greatest inspirational and moving quotes about love from the famous, influential, and recognized, and has brought them under one roof in her nonfiction book, Love Quotes. The contributors range from Buddha to Oscar Wilde to Lucille Ball to Jennifer Aniston. And they're all accompanied by high quality, light, uplifting images.
The first thing that I noticed about this book and that slowly grew on me was how short it is. Weighing in at less than 50 pages, this can easily be read through in ten to fifteen minutes. But I actually liked that factor because the author chose to go a route that other quote books currently don't. Instead of finding every quote that can possibly relate to the topic chosen and throwing them all in there to let the reader pick and choose what works for them and what doesn't, Gabi Rupp has thoroughly combed through the available quotes. When I sit down as a reader, I am provided with only the best and most relative quotes. I don't have to flip through to find one that I like. If I peer at the first five in the book, I already love all five.
Love Quotes is above the genre standard and gives an enjoyable read that I honestly will be keeping to go through over and over when I need a little pick up or inspiration. And the images keep the balance of fun, bright and uplifting without being over the top or distracting from the great selection of quotes found here. And with such diverse speakers, you're sure to find someone that you already adore and are excited to see a quote from. If you're looking for a quote book that gives you quality content, this is it!
