The setting is Earth in the unknown future. The fate of the human race rests on the shoulders of Lucan Roarke. The humans are no longer fertile. Roarke searches for what he believes will bring a healing, the Grail. He has a map that he believes will lead him to Avalon on a planet named Pendragon, he believes the Grail lies there. After several years he makes him way o the distant planet.
The High Priestess of Pendragon, Lady Cael has lived a solitary life. To touch her is forbidden and punishable by death. Lucan meets the beautiful Dragonshifter and cannot help himself. He touches her like the woman she is. Lucan joins forces with the Priestess to protect the Grail.
Lucan is the first book in Susan Kearney’s new series, Pendragon Legacy Trilogy. I’ve always been a fan of the King Arthur, Knight’s of the Round Table, Holy Grail, and Merlin. This is a fantastic futuristic version. The characters are delicious. Lady Cael has passion. Lucan is so sexy. Kearney spared nothing when it comes to steaming love scenes. This book has it all shapeshifting, myths, mystery, adventure, romance and oh so hot love scenes.
