Meet the charming bunny Mabel Anderson in the story Mabel Anderson Has an Elegant Tea Party by Alma R. Melton. Mabel loved to have elegant tea parties and she loved her friends. Mabel was expecting twelve bunny guests to attend her tea party and luncheon. Everything was ready; the decorations, the food, and the flower arrangements. She set a good table and Mabel's tea parties were the most elegant in three counties. She had a special gift for each bunny friend. How did the party go? Did her bunny friends enjoy the tea party?
This delightful story is all about loving, giving, kindness, and prayer. The illustrations by Courtney Tolbert are as lovely as the story and make the story come to life for young readers. Mabel's prayers to God is the best way to teach gratitude and how to be thankful for all the blessings in life. It is a beautiful story to help readers believe in God and his gifts and be grateful for them. The book can be used in classrooms and Bible classes to help children understand loving, giving, and kindness; all of which are associated with a Christian nature using the examples of Mabel and her bunny friends.
This is a good storybook for parents to use at home to impart Christian values to their children without sounding too preachy. The author's writing style is gentle, charming, and filled with grace. Readers will love Mabel and her generosity and kindness, and they will also like all the other bunnies in the story who are also wise, fun, kind and loving Christian bunnies.
