It had not been long since "The Dark War" swept across the lands of Juno. In DTM Harris's Mosscroft you will journey across the seven territories of Juno, now at peace. Or at least that is what one of the territories of Juno thinks. Unbeknownst to its citizens, hatred grows in the far lands; it burrows into the hearts of the habitants of the territories of Tessa and Leighas. Because of the growing discontent, the two of them decide to join against the lands of Juno. Their plans will set into motion a chain of events that will intertwine with each of the character's lives. Ronan, with the help of his friends, will have to uncover the many secrets that lie under the surface of Juno. He has, however, secrets of his own, and with his son's insistence on accompanying him on his journey, these will come out sooner or later. While they go on their quest, Petra and Mina will stay hidden - will they be safe there? At the same time, Dagmar will face the truths of his past. Everything that happened in Juno has long blurred the line between good and evil. Will they ever find a middle ground?
DTM Harris's Mosscroft is everything you could ask from a science fiction story. The complexities of this world filled with action and secrets will prevent you from putting the book down. Harris's decision to change the point of view frequently gives a quick pace to the events, making the story even more engaging. These shifts also allow you to see deeper into the characters' personalities and stories, growing fond of them. Harris has made all of them complex and unique, shaped by their pasts and the things happening to them. Each of them contributes to making the plot even greater than it is. Tension, fear, love - there is room for all that and more in this dystopian world of political intrigue. If you are looking for an intricate page-turner to keep you on the edge of your seat, this is the book for you.
