Never, Ever Get Married by Tony Moraffah is a truly insightful book about the pitfalls of marriages and how to avoid them. With five failed marriages behind him, Tony has gathered and earned the wisdom he shares in his book. Tony’s goal is not to put you off marriage completely, but to teach you how to work on a relationship to make it marriage ready. The book contains valuable lessons such as things that make marriages work, choosing a spouse, and one of the most important building blocks of any relationship; effective communication. Tony uses a range of impactful tidbits and humor to teach us all about choosing the right person, making the relationship work, and being prepared for a successful and happy marriage.

Never, Ever Get Married has an eye-catching title and I am certainly glad I read it. Going through the book I felt more and more confident about the partner I chose in life, and even though we have no plans of ever getting married, I was bolstered by Tony Moraffah’s wisdom: “You don’t need a marriage ceremony or certificate to have a great relationship.” Tony’s book also helped me see that I need to treasure my partner and that a simple thank you may seem trivial, but could mean the world to someone else. Never, Ever Get Married is an inspirational book for singles, couples in a relationship, and even spouses. It’s never too late or too early to read Tony’s book and learn from the wisdom within.

A good marriage gives you the confidence to feel more physically and emotionally secure as a couple. That's why the positive experiences you enjoy as a couple are a great reason to be happy. Despite what the title suggests, Never, Ever Get Married is a guide to making your relationship work and the cover displays the important proviso Until You Read This Book. If you're single, it will help you find the right person. If you're married, it will motivate you to strengthen your relationship. If your relationship isn't right, you'll be able to reflect to find the right solution. Tony Moraffah explains that marriage is not only about love, but it is also necessary to have common goals. He exalts values such as honesty and respect because he wants to help you make the best decisions for your life.

I liked Never, Ever Get Married for its creativity and comprehensive content. This book is a great indication as to whether you are ready for a relationship. The chapters are short with practical messages while maintaining a touch of humor. Tony Moraffah draws on his experiences to give advice and relate anecdotes because he intends to help readers make their relationships a success. One of my favorite parts was the chapter that explains how to show your love. Action is more important than words and in that section, there are tips that anyone can follow. The importance of overcoming feelings of hurt and showing affection is reaffirmed. In this way, Tony Moraffah shows that marriage is not an obstacle to enjoying life; it is an opportunity to share beautiful moments.
