It’s up to Dr. Jo Granger, a psychologist, and her ex-husband, Texas Ranger Brody Winchester, to sort out the truth from the lies of Harvey’s final confession and to discover the true identity of the long-lost apprentice in No Escape by Mary Burton.
I’ve been exploring more and more thriller novels lately and this one I just couldn’t pass up. The story line sounded interesting and as soon as I started reading it, I knew I’d made a great choice. I actually finished this book in one day because it was just that interesting to me. Jo and Brody have a great relationship and chemistry that continues to brew throughout the book. The chaos that occurs around them will definitely captivate you as well. I was kept guessing the entire time as twists and turns and all sorts of crazy events happened. When the killer was unveiled, I was completely shocked. No Escape by Mary Burton is definitely an interesting novel and I would be very excited to read more of her books in the same genre. If you’re a thriller fan you definitely won’t be disappointed with this book.
