Panther's Snowy Christmas is a children's picture book by Vivian Zabel. Complemented by colorful illustrations from Athalie Genesis, the story follows the adventures of a black cat named Panther. It's nearing Christmas, and Katie is helping her father string the lights along the tree when Panther jumps on the manger. With the hustle and bustle of activity around Christmas, Panther knows something is up. On Christmas morning, he follows Katie and her younger sister Emma as they are about to open their presents and quickly engages them in playing. But when they go outside to play, Panther is hesitant to follow them. Finally, the girls realize Panther isn't sure of the snow and must be coaxed into it. Slowly Panther becomes more comfortable around snow, although he will never be a big fan.
