Queen of His Heart by Suzanna Lynn is a psychological thriller that will take you on a journey you will not want to end. Officer Samantha Daniels is a woman who never took anything for granted. She does her job the best she can and if it means joining the “family” of a kingpin, so be it. She accepts the assignment to go undercover and try to get as close to Dominic Murphy as possible. But it is not easy; she knew that she would have to break some boundaries, but this is something she never anticipated. She seems to have a taste for torture and blood and she doesn’t seem to mind it that much. The thing that worries her the most is that she is falling for the evil Dominic. She sees a side of him that she never knew and now it is becoming hard to remember what is right and what is wrong. Can she find it in herself to focus on her job and keep her mind away from Dominic?
This is definitely not an easy read. It gets graphic, raw and real at times and that makes it hard for you to put the novel down. The narrative is smooth like butter; it took me on a journey where I was living the danger and the drama alongside Samantha. I could feel her confusion and her dread; I wanted to see where things would go and how she would get out of this mess. This is definitely a novel that you want to take your time with, you don’t want to rush it and ruin the experience. I was enamored with Samantha and I just wanted her to make the best decision for herself. This is brilliantly original and exceptionally well-developed. Definitely one of the best! Magical and simply fantastic!
