Rebecca Steele married Chance and brought his daughter, Cassie, to live with them. Cassie was a brainy six-year-old who loved her dad and stepmom to bits, and they loved her too. They lived happy lives surrounded by family and friends. However, there was an enormous problem. Cassie’s mom, Carrie, who just left rehab, will stop at nothing to get her daughter back. She also wanted Chance so that they could become a family once again. It was a battle of the hearts until a tragedy took place that changed the game. There was a loss, an otherworldly experience, a replacement, and incomprehensible occurrences. Will the love that Rebecca and Chance share last a lifetime? Is there hope for Carrie and Chance? Find out in Rebecca Steele Living the Dream by Joanne Patterson.

Rebecca Steele Living the Dream by Joanne Patterson was a captivating work that I enjoyed reading. This installment is the last part of the Rebecca Steele trilogy that brings the previous books to a perfect conclusion. The story alternates between contemporary romance, supernatural experiences, and real-life lessons that we could all use. I also loved the realistic storyline and excellent character development. The plot was brilliant, and the story was unpredictable with unexpected twists. One important lesson I learned is never to hold a grudge. No one knows when they’ll take their last breath. The Jesse angle intrigued me because it hit close to home. Also, children are intuitive. I feel like they have metaphysical eye/mind/sense. This book was well-rounded, and Joanne is such a gifted storyteller. Emily and Dylan deserve a book. No? Please, write more, Joanne.

FIRST REVIEW ON REBECCA STEELE LIVING THE DREAM ❤️
From Advance reader ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you.

Rebecca Steele Living the Dream” by Joanne Patterson is book three in her Rebecca Steele series. She has saved the best for last. It could certainly be a stand alone book though it would help to have read books one and two. If you love the country music scene, horses and the rodeo, romance with sudden, unexpected, life altering plot twists… this book is for you! I give it five stars and highly recommend it for your reading pleasure.

After reading the first two books in the Rebecca Steele trilogy (Chasing A Dream and Living The Dream) I was excited to hear that Joanne Patterson's third novel was going to be available on Amazon. I ordered the paperback version and I began to read. I found it hard to put down and I loved following Becky and the other characters as their lives played out. The plot twists and the relationships of the people made for an interesting story and I felt almost sad to say goodbye to them as I closed the back cover. If the reader is interested in a love story, country music , ranch living or the supernatural, then Living The Dream is a great choice.

Becky is back!
What a drama-packed story in Rebecca Steele Living the Dream by Joanne Patterson. I am a big fan of this author! This author brings the Becky back to life. This author had a dramatic writing style, and indeed can show stories. I love it when a Legacy author sends me more of their work! I read the first 2 books in this series Rebecca Steele and enjoyed them. However, this, I think, is my favorite. Becky is strong character, and a lot of that strength comes from within, and she also shows it on the outside with her music and attitude. It's never a journey that is without obstacles, but it is a book that also brings her daughter into the limelight. Sadly, this is the final book in the series, but it is definitely full of drama, and that bit of unpredictability. It’s one of those embraceable stories. It is always an honor to read this author's books. I recommend reading all three, in order, but they can be read stand alone, but you get extra doses of Becky when you read all three. Rebecca Steele Living the Dream is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews. I look forward to reading many more titles by this author.

This is the third book in this series which is just as enjoyable as the previous book I have read in this series. Becky is back and has no idea what fate has in store for her. It is a well written story that is full of love, faith and a woman with attitude. I enjoyed seeing the previous characters as well as a couple of new ones. They are connectable and bring the story to life on each page. I enjoyed watching their growth throughout the story. They are supportive and keep the story engaging. I enjoyed how fast paced and hard to put down this book is. This is the final book in this series and what an ending it was. You don’t want to miss this one or this series which I highly suggest going back to read the previous books to help your enjoyment of the characters and the author’s writing style. I highly suggest this book.

This series is so wonderful to read. I love Becky’s strength and her belief in others. I can relate to the characters and the faith they have in each other. This installment in the series is my favorite. Starting in the opening pages, you feel the love Becky and her family shares. Although I did not read the fist book in the series, I remembered many of the characters from the second book and liked meeting the new characters. Overall, I really enjoyed this book.

Carol

have all three of the Rebecca Steele books. This last one was easy read that I finished in less than 2 days! Buy all three and get a glass of wine or cup of coffee and enjoy a great trilogy!

Unfortunately, this is the final book in the series. This Western romance that is a sweet story. It is a quick read and there are times when the story is emotional and heartfelt at the same time as loving and understanding whilst filled with angst and frustration. It really has a little bit of everything.
Rebecca Steele has left behind her old life and married her love and his beautiful daughter. But someone from his past resurfaces and threatens everything she loves. Her other love is country music, but it is a hard world to navigate. It shows the best and the worst of the life. She will need to pull on a strength even she didn’t know she fully had to get her through. But she is not alone she has family and friends to help her on her way.

MommyT

How much can one woman be expected to take in a lifetime? Poor Becky thinks she finally has her life figured out and on the blissful path that she’s been longing for when suddenly obstacles are thrown in her path. She face tragedy and so many struggles that I never saw coming in the finale to this series. She is such a strong amazing woman that she finds a way to persevere and make it through to the other side. My mouth literally fell open in shock at several twists in this story and I was so very happy to see how the series wrapped up. The ending definitely made me tear up.

I had not read the other books in this series, but the cover really attracted me in this one. Being a country girl myself, I was truly ready to get my saddle on and give this book a whirl. In small words, I loved this book and the characters. I laughed and chimed in with a good beat all the way through. I will be going back to the previous novels for sure and seeing what else the author has written for me to enjoy reading! I must say Rebecca was a treat to read on. I truly loved how she was written, and truly how real she was to myself as a reader. She faces and goes through a lot of struggles. Only after things seemed to finally from what I gathered from past events, seem to be going in the right direction. I loved how things seemed bad, she kept that hope and the will to keep on going alive within her soul and her heart! I think a lot of us can relate to Rebecca in different ways. She was a strong willed character, and was one not to be messed with. She was knocked off her horse a few times, but she never gave up and kept on going. O lived that quality of her, and her determination was real and a very admirable trait! I also loved the other characters, which were a joy to read on as well. This book was not predictable as well. i was surprised with twists and a little bends here and there. It made the book more than I expected. I loved the book and how easily it flowed as I read, I could not get enough. I am so happy I got to read this wonderful book and discover a beautiful series by a very talented author! As said, this boo was a fun ride! I loved how easily the book flowed and everything came together, and really how relatable the characters made the book easy to meet on level with! I will be reading the first two for sure! Needless to say, this is a must read book and a must read author! highly recommend both!

What a wonderful way to end the series, Living the Dream brought a wonderful story to a peaceful and loving conclusion. It was a fast, easy read, full of so many twists and turns, yet easy to follow.
After reading all three books, it is apparent that the completion of this series was in itself a lifelong dream for this author. Well done and thank you!
Give life a “CHANCE” and everything will fall into place.

Where to start? This book is excellent. It is book 3 in the series. The conclusion of Becky and Chance's story. Toss in an ex-wife that just can't get a clue, ex's that come back around, and some extra powerful drama. Becky and Chance are dealing with all of this around her doing a concert series once a month and the rodeo. They face some strong struggles but their love seems to be very strong. Can they get through this. Will their love survive? This story caught me from page 1. You are going to feel the emotions roll through the whole story. It's going to be an emotional roller coaster. I can't give anything away. You have to read this story. You will not be disappointed. This is on my list of favorites for 2021. Well-written with fantastic characters that are so easy to relate to. I wish I could give it a 10, but they will only allow me to give it a 5. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Outstanding!! Definitely one of the best books I've read for 2021.

Wonderful conclusion to the three book series. Just as our lives have many twists and turns, so doesn’t Becky’s life. Thank you Joanne for tying it all up and not leaving us hanging! What a great read!

Rebecca Steele Living the Dream is the third and final book in The Rebecca Steele series by Joanne Patterson. This is a sweet western romance- full of emotion, challenges, family, and dramatic developments.
This book follows on from the previous two, and as such, I highly recommend reading the other books before starting on this one as the previous books contain important character information, back story, and other relevant details that will help you to better appreciate this story, as well as the series, as a whole.
I have enjoyed this series, so finding this book is the final instalment made it a bit of bittersweet experience. Finding out how Rebecca’s story concludes was a bit of an emotional ride- the author didn’t make things easy for her- she was tested with new challenges that impacted everything she held dear. What happens makes for an emotional, angsty, and yet heartwarming read.
Looking forward to seeing what Ms. Patterson does next.
Happy reading!

It is always hard knowing you are reading the final book in a series but this book is the perfect t example of an ending done right. Although the book can be read as a standalone I would definitely recommend reading the series in order. It had to be said that the author has certainly saved the best book until last. This book is easily my favourite out of the series and has just been so well written you get lost in the story. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to go back and enjoy the whole series again.

Dreamgirl

While I had read the previous two installments to this series, this particular installment really drew me to it with its cover. Once again I have to admire the way that Rebecca is written. Her character is beautiful, smart, loyal, and she was really written in a way that almost makes her feel real. This story is full of love, drama, faith, and a strong willed woman with attitude. Being as this was the end of this series it had lots of moments that were highly emotional, but there were also a lot of sweet and endearing moments as well. So if you haven't read this incredible story with Becky and Chance, you need to pick this up today and you will not be disappointed.

With this being the final book in the series, the best was surely saved for last. I loved every single gripping aspect of this story. From the characters, the story, the incredible atmosphere it created in my mind. Simply everything was magnificent about it. Highly emotional, yet sweetly endearing. It was not a long story, but it was a good one, and left a lasting impression. I would have loved moer in this series, but what I have read won't be forgotten, and will be re-read again soon. 5 stars.

This is book three of the Rebecca Steele Series. It can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading the first two books in the series first. This is the best book in the series. I think the author did a beautiful job on this book. It’s heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. It’s a wonderful conclusion to this series.

Jenn

This was a really good story, but I didn't feel like it was executed well. It seemed very spotty and choppy to me. I had a hard time getting lost in the story because the timeline wasn't established well and it seemed to keep skipping from one spot to another. Just very choppy. I enjoyed the characters and really enjoyed the book before this one but for whatever reason this one just didn't flow well for me. Maybe it was an off reading day but I just couldn't get into this one. Overall the story was great it just didn't enthrall me.

Rebecca Steele Living the Dream (Rebecca Steele series Book 3) by Joanne Patterson. This book is a great ending to the Rebecca Steele Series. Its the continuing story of Becky who is living her dream out by doing concerts once a month and still doing the rodeo as well. She is so busy and loving every minute of it along with being a mom and new wife things seem perfect but of course things aren't always as they seem. Going thru obstacles in her new life and even tragedies just seem to bring out the best in Becky. She has family, her husband and her friends to always be there for her and Becky herself has grown so much just in the past two books. This book is emotional but in a good way because you get to see so many positive changes in Becky. I do recommend reading the first two books first to get a real feel for Becky and her life. This is probably my favorite book in the series. I honestly hate to see it end.

Katie

Having read the second book in this series I was really looking forward to this new instalment and I wasn’t disappointed! I really like the authors writing, it’s easy to read and she writes in a very engaging way. I really like Becky as a character, she has such an admirable strength about her. I have really enjoyed reading about her! In this story we see Becky faced with many challenges, the author definitely wasn’t going to let her final book be an easy one! This was definitely a fitting story for the final book in this series and I absolutely loved it. I would highly recommend this book and the series! I look forward to reading more from this author again in the future.

Party girl

This is the 3rd book in the series and I really enjoyed it. The book is fast paced and I would advise reading the other books before this as this one does hit the ground running and it maybe confusing if you don't know the story from the other 2 books. In this book Rebecca is back. Her career is going from strength to strength, she is married to her love and together they are raising her step daughter. Things couldn't be more perfect. However things aren't as they seem and with people from both Rebecca's and Chance's pasts turning up to make life difficult can their relationship survive? Add to this the pressure that arrives in the form of their step- daughter Cassie following in Rebecca's footsteps and having a talented for singing. We have seen Cassie grow up through these books and I'm so happy to see her become the confident little girl she should be. If you love romance stories with cowboys, horses, country singing and a fast paced story then this is definately a series for you.

Another solid book to add to the series. Rebecca is a strong lady even through all her struggles. Becky is brought to life in the page and becomes more animated. Each of the characters are relatable and you connect with them. Am excellent series highly recommended.

This is a review of the third book in the "The Rebecca Steele Series" by Joanne Patterson. This book is best read in sequence after "Chasing a Dream," and "Living the Dream." Patterson's character development is appreciated throughout the books and the series get better throughout the books which is lost if the stories are read as a stand-alone. I enjoyed following the characters and found the subject interesting. This unique combination of ranch living and supernatural occurrences works with Patterson's writing talents.

Heidi

This is the third book in the Rebecca Steele series and is 261 pages in length. This story is filled with drama and twists as Rebecca’s story comes to an end. Just when she thinks her life is on a straight path to her dreams, things happen. Her love for playing country music keeps her going and pushes her through. As with all series ending books, this one was hard to put down. This book has a little bit of everything – it was bittersweet.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fast read but definitely didn’t leave you feeling jipped. There were quite a bit of twists and turns to leave you guessing but tied everything together nicely at the end. Very enjoyable!

A wonderful conclusion to the 3 book trilogy! I’m glad I read the first two books as it added to the backstory and depth of the characters…although it can be read as a standalone. Becky yet again, shows her inspiring personality and inner strength as she navigates ALL the events of her life. There are many twists and turns…making this such an exciting and emotional read. I absolutely love this book and the epilogue was such a nice added bonus. Such a GREAT way to end the trilogy! I hope to see more from this author.

We are back for the last time as this series comes to an end in the final installment of the Rebecca Steele series. Living the Dream takes us on a wild ride as Becky juggles being a wife and mother, her concerts and the rodeo. We watch as she grows as a person and you will no doubt get emotional as she deals with trials and struggles with our favorite characters there to back her up. It's a great story and I highly recommend reading this series.

This was a great 5 star read and the final book in this great series. If you like western romance you will really enjoy the series. Once you get started you won’t want to put it down. Things are going great for Rebecca. She is in her happy place of singing and rodeo. She’s married with a family. But of course life has difficult moments and they definitely come Rebecca's way. My emotions were all over the place at times. Overall I really enjoyed this story. The characters were great and the author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. It can be read as a stand alone but I would suggest reading the first two books in the series before this one so that you can enjoy the story more. 1-click and get started today.

A dreamy four-star read. This is number three in the Rebecca Steele series and its also the last story in the series and that is normally a bad thing, but this is done well so it’s a great end. I really enjoyed this story for the most part, but there were a couple of bits that didn’t sit right with me, the characters were amazing as always and the story great, just a little more putting together and this would be five stars.

This book picks up with Becky and Chance enjoying married life. They are spending time with Cassie and Becky is back to opening up for some of country music's hottest artists. However, the bliss doesn't last for long when Becky starts having weird dreams and Carrie comes back to stir things up with Chance. When Chance takes Cassie to spend time with Carrie in New York, a chain of events is set off that will change the course of all of their lives. However, when the unthinkable happens, Becky is not sure how she will move forward. She finds herself connecting with someone new for reasons that feel beyond her own understanding. Can she move on with her life? Is Cassie going to be okay with all of this? And why does a stranger feel like someone she has known forever? I found this book to be fast-paced and full of little twists and turns. There are also some emotional ups and downs that I did not see coming and kept me immersed in the story. I enjoyed reading it...and finished it in a single sitting. I also enjoyed all the secondary characters. The book wrapped up by giving us a glimpse into the futures of all of the supporting characters which was fun.

Omg yay! This was so beautiful. I haven’t finished crying yet. This author has a way of inspiring people through her live stories. The way that Becky and Johnny have gone on this journey of love and adventure the ups and downs I feel like the ultimate third wheel. I love that this story didn’t feel like the third of a series and that I was reading a new story. The trials of success and motherhood really hit home. I would read this book again and again. Loved this book and the book before. This author made me feel at home following this adventure. Wish there was more.

5 Stars Rebecca Steele Living the Dream (Rebecca Steele series Book 3) by Joanne Patterson Rebecca Steele Living the Dream is the third and final book in the Rebecca Steele series and once you start reading you won’t want to stop till you’ve finished. This is a Western Romance that is packed with, love, drama and a few family challenges along the way. Living the Dream is a cute western for country and romance lovers. Becky has come through a lot of turmoil and upheaval in the preceding books, and now finally has her man, her career, and a spunky little stepdaughter to keep her happy. Obviously that isn't the end of the action, though! There is a lot of suspense in the plot to keep readers interested, plus old and new characters that fans of the series will like.
I was a bit put off by the style of writing; it felt like someone recounting a story that had already taken place, rather than something that was currently happening. That remove from the action caused it to feel slow in parts for me. However it is in a similar vein to the other books, so if you liked the others, you will likely enjoy this one as well.

Taylor

I really enjoyed this and thought the story was excellent! This is the third book in a series and I’m hoping to eventually get to the first two at some point. I’m really into westerns right now and I loved the western setting. It was a cute love story with some twists and unexpected obstacles thrown at her, but she handled it well! I highly recommend for anyone looking for romance and who’s into westerns!

This is the third and last book in the Rebecca Steele series by Joanne Patterson. I highly recommend reading the books in order. This is a sweet romance that has some drama, challenges, and emotions throughout this book. Like before this book drew me in from the first page until the last word. I love Becky’s story because she has been loving life. She has had some minor bumps in the road but nothing that strength, faith, and a bit of attitude cannot fix. This book has taken me for an emotional ride that I was willing to take to see what happens to Becky. I highly recommend this book but do not forget to read the first two books first.

KPP

This is book three of this series by this author. This one was just as good as the previous two books in my opinion. This author is such a great writer. I love her visualization process and how it has progressed throughout each book. These characters are fantastic. I feel like they are my own friends and family just living in a different state. That’s how real this series has been to me. As with the previous two books I couldn’t put this one down and was gripping the edge of my seat throughout several chapters. While I was hoping the author would continue with this series I think she did a wonderful job closing the chapter and ending it. However, I do hope that maybe she will change her mind and perhaps do a spin-off at some point in the future. I highly recommend this for anyone that loves “western” themed stories. If you like the show “Yellowstone” you will like this series.

Beverly

And we’re back to wrap up Becky’s story. I have mixed feelings about Rebecca Steele Living the Dream. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing. We still have the past of Johnny Munroe still lingering around as Chance & Becky begin their lives as man and wife. There’s also Chance’s past with his daughter’s mom Carrie. Baggage on both sides. Which leads to some ups and downs on both sides. Once tragedy strikes it's all about how they rise up and go on with life. I don’t want to give much away so I’ll say this: If you stumbled across this book as I have, you should start back at book 1. Get the entire backstory, not that it couldn’t be a standalone novel, however some things will make more sense. Enjoy!

Jenny

I was excited to read this third and final book in the ‘Rebecca Steele’ series and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was great being back with the wonderful Becky and to be fully immersed in her world again. I would recommend reading the previous books in the series, not just because they are a fab read, but because this continues her story. As usual I felt engaged with Becky who is such a likeable and relatable strong main character, and it was nice that her daughter Cassie took a more prominent part in the storyline. Although Becky is enjoying her life on the country music stage, when she faces some adverse conditions, once again she needs her strength, resolve, attitude and faith to see her through. As well as her old friends turning up in the story the author also keeps things interesting with some new faces. The exciting storyline and plot twists kept me hooked from start to finish and I just couldn’t stop reading. I’m disappointed that this is the last book in the series and I will miss Rebecca Steele, but this was definitely a good send off for her.

Jeanne

From the beginning of her story in book 1 to the last chapter in book 3, the author takes the reader along with Becky as she journeys thru life's adventures, experiencing every emotion along the way. Throughout the series, Becky becomes real and her joys and sorrows are felt as if she were a friend. She's strong, and full of faith in the universe, and does not hesitate to pursue her dreams. If you like country music, love horses and dogs and believe in love's magic, the Rebecca Steele series does not disappoint. Hoping to see more from Joanne Patterson on my list of Kindle reads.

Reviews and musings

This is the 3rd book in the series and I really loved it. In this book Rebecca is happily married , her career is at an all time high and she leads a good life with her husband and step daughter. However, nothing remains perfect. People from the past turn up and it makes the relationship between Rebecca and her husband difficult. Her step daughter is stepping into her shoes with a penchant for singing and blooms into a confident little girl. Rebecca has to really fight with all her strength to hold on to the things and people who are dear to her life. It is a bitter sweet ending, but I did enjoy every bit of this fast paced love story.

From Nashville

I spent my teens and twenties living in the Nashville area, so being able to revisit some of my old haunts was a treat! I loved this book from the very beginning, yet it surprised me. There are amazing characters as well as facts and tidbits about country music. The author throws in some family dynamics that show readers how to honor the family they were born into, as well as choose the family they make. A page turner to the very end!

Book bub reviewer

Becky has returned for the third and final installment of the Rebecca Steele Saga. Her journey us not one without obstacles. Becky is a very strong character who you just cant help take notice of. She is a woman that if she was real you would want her to have by your side through anything. I found this book very hard to put down. Joanne Patterson has saved the best for last and this book does not disappoint.
