I can't believe I have been reading Christian fiction all of my life and never read anything by Traci Hunter Abramson. Redemption is an amazing suspense thriller that kept me biting my nails, I could hardly put it down! Gage Stewart is no longer the 15-year-old mixed-up boy he used to be and that is why he now is helping others to know what to do in a mass shooting. When he meets Skyler, his entire life changes. He never believed he would ever feel this way about anyone. Life is normal for the two until they were involved in not one, but two mass shootings in which many lives were saved because they both were involved in Riley's classes and knew what to do. And you will understand this when you read the book.
Wow! Redemption by Traci Hunter Abramson is an incredible read. The characters are so realistic I had to keep reminding myself I was reading a book and not the newspaper. Gage stole my heart when he was the 15-year-old he was trying to forget. And I love him even more now that he is trying so hard to make a new life for himself. I love Skyler so much as well; she is nothing like her family. They are perfect for each other, but could it ever work? Riley's mass shooting classes were so real it was hard to tell them from the real ones, except for the people getting hurt or worse. And the real mass shooting scenes were very detailed and horrific. I was so proud of Riley and Skyler, they were amazing. I found the Saint Squad very interesting. They were laid back and humorous until they had a job to do, and then it was all serious and work, and they did it perfectly. The detailed scenes written about the Squad are vivid. There is so much going on in this book, a lot of tension everywhere. If you love a good and clean suspense thriller, this is it. You won't regret reading Redemption.
