In Mystic Island, Book 1 of Relic Worlds: Pick Your Path series, you will join Lancaster James and his partner Little Jack on exciting adventures to explore ancient ruins on distant planets in search of powerful relics that could unlock the greatest mysteries of the universe. On this journey, they venture to a planet in the Polaris system where they learn about the mystery of the Zebornos, an alien race which populated the system millions of years ago. You will choose the direction of the story; will the daredevil anthropologist and his sidekick explore a mysterious cave or keep climbing a dangerous cliff? Will they fight the dangerous creatures that they encounter or just run? This exciting Pick Your Path book is written by Jeff McArthur.
Even though Mystic Island is the first installment in Relic Worlds: Pick Your Path series, this the second adventure style book that I read from author Jeff McArthur. If you’re familiar with Endless Quest Books from TSR, then this is another exciting series you want to get your hands on, especially if you are fan of this kind of books. There are puzzles to be discovered that continue through book 2 to 5. McArthur makes it more enjoyable by providing a prize if you solve all five Pick Your Path books, which is available at Relic Worlds website.
Personally, this type of material should entice younger generation to realize that reading can be fun. Kudos to Jeff McArthur for his daring creative effort through Relic Worlds series.
